  What are Binary Options?

Binary options, also known as 'fixed return' or 'digital' options, are assets that are traded at a pre-set price.  This means that the return on your investment is predetermined from the start.  The amount that the asset rises or falls in value is not relevant to the payout because only the direction matters.  When trading binary options, you simply chose whether the price of the asset will go up or down from its original purchased price at time of expiry.  Successful binary options trades are referred to as being "in the money" while unsuccessful trades are "out of the money."  An "in the money" trade earns the predetermined payout as listed at the time of the trade's execution.

  What is an Underlying Asset?

Underlying assets are any tradable products upon which a financial market can be based.  Assets which are traded through financial markets include currency pairs (e.g. Euro/Dollar, Dollar/Pound), commodities (e.g. gold, oil, coffee), stocks (e.g. Google, Coca Cola, Nike), stock indices (e.g. Dow Jones, S&P 500, DAX), and bonds.

In binary options trading, investors buy options on individual assets at a fixed expiry time in order to benefit from the price change at the time of expiry.

247binary offers a selection of over 130 tradable assets from among currency pairs, commodities, stocks, and indices.

How do binary options differ from traditional financial options?

247binary offers binary options that guarantee a fixed return on your "in-the-money" trades. Binary options are a simple and exciting way to trade and are financially rewarding as both the risk and reward is known ahead of time. By contrast, the vastly more complex traditional financial options typically have longer expiry times, wildly changing returns on investment, and can be sold in the market before the expiry.

What is the maximum investment amount?

The maximum investment amount for a single trade is 1,000 USD or EUR, depending on the currency of your trading account.
